ASCAPE colleagues from the University of Novi Sad presented its objectives, main achievements to date and current lines of research at the 21st IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and BioEngineering October 25-27, 2021, Kragujevac, Serbia. The conference took place in a hybrid mode with a combination of in-person attendees and virtual attendees.
Special attention was paid to the ASCAPE Open Call that will enable health stakeholders (hospitals, research institutions, companies, etc.) to evaluate the developed ASCAPE AI models and the whole ASCAPE solution, as well as SMEs and research centres with expertise on AI/ML and on cancer-related medical applications, to contribute new algorithms to improve or/and train ASCAPE Open AI infrastructure to support the Quality of Life of patients with additional types of cancer or medical conditions. Consequently, most of the questions were related to the open call and the conditions to apply.
